Scandinavia experiences harsh and cold winters—roughly 6 hours of daylight in December! However, shoulder-seasons offer incredible deals on airfare/hotels, fewer crowds and we wouldn’t have to deal with our cranky kids complaining over the sweltering heat. Always looking for a bargain, we jumped on the opportunity to explore Stockholm during spring break and fearlessly braved the cooler weather!
